Playable Character’s Prerequisite
Michael Pulling Favors“ and “Complications

Quick Mission Guide

Follow these steps to complete the mission successfully without worrying about medal requirements. If you need help with the Gold Medal, check here.

  1. Once you’ve completed Pulling Favors and Complications, speak with Barry in the Downtown Park to begin this mission.
  2. Take out Aliens - Now take out all the aliens with the mini-gun until the drugs wear off to complete the mission.

Gold Medal Requirements:

  1. Unmarked - Complete with minimal damage to health and armor.
  2. Kill Chain - Kill 7 aliens in 10 seconds.

Unmarked

Armor is a good idea for this mission though the aliens’ attacks do not do that much damage. You can afford to take a few hits and still get the gold medal for this mission.

The best approach is to always keep the gun spinning so you can take aliens out as soon as they appear. Keep an eye on the radar as vision is limited. As soon as they pop in, look for any aliens on top of structures or coming around to try to flank you. If you keep the aim button held down, the minigun will keep spinning, allowing you to immediately fire off shots when they spawn. Strafe around any cover you can to minimise any shots they may get off.

Be very aware of your radar especially after clearing out one spawn as they will tend to spawn behind you or off to the side. Just be quick to deal with the new threat and they will not get a chance to hit you much with any attacks.

(1 of 2) Grab a quick kill chain at the start.

Grab a quick kill chain at the start. (left), then watch out for the aliens on the towers who fire lasers. Super Heavy Armor negates a ton of damage. (right)

Kill Chain

This task is easily accomplished really. At the beginning there is quite a large wave of enemies so if you focus fire on these as they come and kill them straight away you shouldn’t have a problem getting enough kills. You can wait for a few to pop into view and then nail them all at once or you can just kill each one as soon as you see it. You should get it through the natural course of the mission providing you don’t take too long killing the aliens. Another option is the wave towards the end of the mission which is also quite large.
