Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Deluxe and Ultimate Editions - Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth

By
Jarrod Garripoli

It is inevitable in this day and age for games to not have multiple editions available to the public. That holds true for Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, as there will be some downloadable content for the game at launch. It should be noted that, at least in the western countries, there won’t really be any special editions for physical copies of the game, as it’s available in just a standard edition. All of the special content will be for digital copies of the game.

In addition to the Standard Edition of Infinite Wealth, there are two other digital versions of the game, which are the Deluxe Edition and the Ultimate Edition. It should be noted that it’s highly likely all of the contents in these editions will be sold separately.

The various editions for Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth and what’s included in them.

New Game Plus DLC in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth

The Master Vacation Bundle is included in both the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game. One of the big things it controversially includes is New Game Plus, so you will need to purchase this DLC if you wish to play through again, while retaining stats and other things. It’s not clear yet that will carry over into New Game Plus for Infinite Wealth, but some of the things that did in Yakuza: Like A Dragon included character levels, money, job levels, items (those not story-related) and more.

In addition to New Game Plus, the Master Vacation Bundle also offers something called Big Swell. It’s a little unclear what this entails, but the description makes it sound like a post-game story episode. There are DLC trophies and achievements for the Master Vacation Bundle, too, for those who enjoy unlocking all of those.

Assorted Outfit Bundle

Only included in the Ultimate Edition of the game, the Assorted Outfit Bundle will give you various costumes for your characters. These costumes, at least based on the previous game, offer you customization choices for when you change into a job class. Instead of using the default job outfit, you will be able to choose one of these costumes, so they might only be seeing them in battles. In addition to the usual costumes based on characters from past games, there will also be swimsuits for your characters.

  • Special Outfit: Kazuma Kiryu (Dragon of Dojima) (Kasuga)
  • Special Outfit: Goro Majima (Nanba)
  • Special Outfit: Makoto Date (Adachi)
  • Special Outfit: Shun Akiyama (Joongi)
  • Special Outfit: Taiga Saejima (Zhao)
  • Special Outfit: Ichiban Kasuga (Kiryu)
  • Special Outfit: Daigo Dojima (Tomizawa)
  • Special Outfit: Haruka Sawamura (Chitose)
  • Special Outfit: Kaoru Sayama (Saeko)
  • Special Outfit: Hamako (Seonhee)

In addition to this, both Ichiban and Kiryu will receive costumes for various characters of past games. You also have a Mascot Heads Set that gives you Ono Michio and Robo Michio heads for all of the characters. Lastly, each character will also receive two swimsuits.

Sujimon and Resort Bundle

The Sujimon and Resort Bundle is restricted to the Ultimate Edition of the game. This bundle will not only give you Sujimon based on characters from past games, but it will also give you a set of items to help raise them. To add onto that, you will also receive a set that includes a bunch of special guests for Dondoko Island and a bunch of materials to help you in getting started in the restoration.

Yakuza CD Collection Set

The last item on this list is the Yakuza CD Collection Set, which is only included in the Ultimate Edition of the game. This set will give you songs from previous games, that you will be able to play at the location of the Karaoke minigame. Note that these aren’t songs you can actually play in the minigame, but rather songs that you can play in the background while you’re hanging out at the location.
