Meet back up with OG Loc back at the Burger Shot, where you see he is done with his time working there. If he is going back to a cell, he wants to throw a huge party back on Grove Street, so he wants to prepare for it. While the actual mission hasn’t started yet, you should do a few things before heading there. First and foremost, you will want full health and armor for this, so if you need a location for the latter, check the Early Weapons and Armor page. Unfortunately, the Ammu-Nation gun store won’t be open until a little later in the game, so you will have to secure your weapons from pick-ups, so check the link above for some of those, too.
The house party will begin at 8pm (20:00) and end at 5am (05:00), so you have that window of time in order to begin the actual mission. The game mentions getting some new clothes and haircut before heading to the party, but it doesn’t really matter in the long run, so whether you want to do it or not is up to you. Once you are prepared, head on over to Grove Street between the specified times above to begin the real mission. While everyone is enjoying the party, despite Loc’s rapping, a Families member arrives to say that some Ballas are coming to crash the party.
Sweet and the others prepare by blocking the street off with some cars, then the real fun with start. The Ballas will come in three waves, with only the final wave being the most dangerous. For the first wave, they will come right in front, in two cars, so target them and gun them down. The second wave will appear on the bridge above your location. Locking onto them might be a little annoying here, so it could be better to manually aim at them. For the final wave, they will come from the alleyways on Grove Street, meaning there’s a few spots and it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Try to use the vehicles as cover here, as it’s easy for the enemies to kill you. When you’ve killed all of the Ballas, the party will resume and the mission will end.
