The Heron skill tree focuses on long range takedowns and mobility, such as how fast you move and a number of different takedown skills.

| Death From Above | Press the jump button to jump onto an enemy below and kill him. x5 XP per kill. |
| Deep Breath | Stay underwater longer before needing to surface for air. |
| Death From Below | Press the right analog stick in to kill an enemy above on a climbable ledge. x5 XP per kill. Requires 2 Standard Takedown Kills. |
| Breath Control | Click the left analog stick in to steady the crosshair 4x longer when looking through a scope. |
| Marathon Man | Sprint faster with the sprint button indefinitely. Requires you to collect 5 Relics. |
| Gunslinger Takedown | Steal an enemy’s pistol and use it to kill nearby enemies. x5 XP per pistol kill. **Requires 10 Handgun Kills.** |
| Dual Death From Above | Press the jump button to jump onto two enemies below and kill them. x7.5 XP per kill. **Requires one Death From Above Takedown kill.** |
| Dual Death From Below | Click the right analog stick in to kill two enemies above on a climbable ledge. x7.5 XP per kill. **Requires one Death From Below Takedown kill.** |

| Line Gunner | Shoot with one-handed weapons while using ziplines. |
| Soft Landing | Reduce damage taken from falls by 25%. |
| Enhanced Syringe Potency | Crafted syringe effects will last 50% longer. |
| Long Gun Expert | Improved hip-fire accuracy when using assault rifles, sniper rifles, and LMGs. |
| Cool Gunner | Allows a mounted gun to be fired longer before it overheats. **Requires 10 Mounted Kills.** |
