In chapter ‘Fugitives’, you’ll have two options: steal $40 from the grocery store and clothes from the laundromat, or cut open the fence to the abandoned house and stay there.
The abandoned house is the easier of the two, so follow these steps:
– After leaving the bus, head to the next bus stop where a garbage truck is parked and talk to Alice. An android will show up and talk with Kara before the truck drives away.
– You can now interact with the fence where the truck was parked before. Push the fence open to get into the area with an abandoned car.
– Grab the wire cutter from the yellow power generator in front of the car, and use them to cut through the fence nearby.
– Head around the house and try to open the front door – Alice will disappear, so backtrack to find that she is being held at knife point by an android.
– Choose dialogue options: ANDROID > HOSPITALITY > STAY.
– The android will let you into the house, then finish the chapter as necessary.
