The Tortured King is one of several bosses that you can find in the Exiled Lands. This boss is a bit harder to find as he is hidden inside of some ruins in the Highlands. While the boss doesn’t have a wide range of moves, the one he does have can easily incapacitate an unprepared player. The guide below goes over where to find The Tortured King, and the best strategy for defeating him in Conan Exiles.

The Tortured King Location¶
The Tortured King is a Legendary Creature that can be found at the King’s Niche near the Highlands. The King’s Niche is guarded by several 
Skeletons, so you will need to fight your way up and inside of the ruins. Make sure to defeat all the skeletons outside, or they will follow you down to the room where The Tortured King is waiting, making the boss fight much more difficult than it was meant to be. The Tortured King does not currently exist on the Isle of Siptah map.
The Tortured King Stats and Boss Strategy¶
The Tortured King has high health at 17,000 points, which makes the battle extremely difficult as you come in ill-equipped. The boss doesn’t have any special moves, but he is extremely quick and will catch up to most players within seconds. The boss wields a spear, which gives him extra reach, so be careful not to underestimate his attack distance. Once he does, he has a fast-paced stab attack that he will hit you with repeatedly. Be careful not to back yourself against the wall, or you will likely get stuck there by The Tortured King’s relentless attack pattern. If possible, try to circle around the center of the room for safety.
Your best friend during this fight is going to be a shield. By blocking The Tortured King’s flurry of attacks, you can create an opening for yourself to strike back. We highly recommend that you also bring a Fighter Thrall into the battle to take some of the heat off of you. The Tortured King will aggro between you and your Thrall, and if you both use a shield, it creates an easy way to whittle the boss down without having to worry about taking any serious damage.

Once you have defeated him, check his body, as he should have a random legendary item. You will want to use a tool to cut up his body. The Tortured King drops a large quantity of 
Demon Blood, 
Bone, 
Putrid Meat, and Infused Wraps, and will also give you a Skeleton Key. While a Legendary Chest does use the harvested Skeleton Key, one will no longer spawn in the area. You can find them in dungeons. There are also three normal chests in the boss room: one on the right, one on the left, and one in the back. These three chests generally contain 
Gold Coins, 
Silver Coins, 
Gold Dust, and 
Gold Bars.
