Resin is one of many resources in !Conan Exiles. It can be made or harvested from trees in certain locations. You can easily acquire Resin during the early part of the games by crafting and harvesting it from trees. However, it generally won’t be possible in large quantities until mid to late game. The guide below goes over all the ways you can collect Resin and what it’s used for.
You can start making Resin once you set up a Dryer.
Where to Find Resin in Conan Exiles¶
Resin can be obtained from using a pick on trees, but for the most part, you won’t require much this way. When you reach the Tundra and Highlands, this changes, but you won’t have a good supply of Resin for crafting this way until late in the game. These are tougher areas that you won’t be able to survive in until late in the game. Due to this, the best way to acquire Resin is by crafting it with a Dryer. This is a device that can dry items in the game. When you place wood inside of it, Resin will be made as a byproduct, much like 
Tar is made when you process 
Hide at the Tannery. You will generally get one Resin per piece of wood you dry, and seeing as wood is one of the easiest resources in the game to get, you should never be in short supply.
What Is Resin Used for in Conan Exiles?¶
Resin has a limited range of uses, the most popular among them being the dyes you can make with this byproduct. The table below goes over every recipe that Resin is used in and what else you will need to craft them.

The most useful out of these recipes are the Improved fishing traps, the dyes, and the Insulated Wood. If you like using a Lance as a weapon, then you also may find use in making Lance Cores. Outside of this, Resin doesn’t really have much use in Conan Exiles.
