This is the first of four ‘Take Back the Streets’ missions, each of which begins from your fort at the Theatre Downtown. Downtown is the first cab off the rank and we can start it by investigating the spinning quest marker at the Theatre.

After starting the mission, if you look at your map you will see that there are three marked zones. We essentially need to make our way to each of these locations, find a Fizzco flag on one of the rooftops within the search area and then interact with it. After doing so, we will need to defend it against enemy attacks for around 30 seconds to complete the task. Allowing the enemies to hit the flag will stop the timer and you will have to interact with it once more to start it up again.

The flag locations and enemy encounters are slightly different at each of the three zones and this is what you can expect:

• West Zone – This is located on top of the Fizzco Centre building. It is initially guarded by a group of Rifle Bots. Once the flag has been activated, you’ll be defending it against both Blade and Rifle Bots. If you keep the flag at your back and look down the ramp, you should be able to identify and kill all the enemies that appear before they get too close.
• Central Zone – Located at the top of the building indicated by the blue search area. Clear out the group of Rifle Bots before raising the flag. You will then have to defend it against Blade Bots which come one after another until the time winds down.
• East Zone – This flag is located on the roof of the building across the road from the Hospital (Las Catrinas base). Again, it is initially guarded by a group of Rifle Bots. Once the flag has been started, you will need to defend it against Blade Bots, Regular OD and Poppers.
