After the scene, you’ll be carrying a new friend. Our job is to carry him all the way back to the Bushido Troop Base in Little Tokyo. When you arrive a scene will play.

Part 1: Boss Fight – Norton Dragon

Once he has been introduced, the Norton Dragon will fly off and cut laps around a block in Little Tokyo shooting fireballs out in front which will light various wires and bounce-worthy object on fire, rendering them temporarily unusable. The tricky part is the large number of OD enemies that he flies past on his route. The fact is he is an extremely easy boss… As long as you keep moving, grinding and bouncing along after him. Dropping to the ground will see you overrun by OD very quickly and often you’ll require a hasty retreat or be granted a quick passage back to the previous checkpoint.

To defeat the boss, you need to follow behind him, maintain a fairly close distance and then jump onto the dragon. Once aboard, grind up his back and use the melee button when you reach its head to dish out some damage.

After dealing the first blow to him, subsequent attempts to deal damage will become slightly more difficult. He will then spawn spiked growths on his back, which prevent you from grinding. Shoot them all away before repeating the grind and melee process.

Shoot the spikes off the dragon’s back (left) before jumping on and grinding up to his head (right) for a melee blow.

The third and final time you move in to attack him, not only will he have spikes on his back, but he will also begin firing off fireballs behind him and in your direction as well as out in front, making your linked manoeuvres a little tricky. As with the second round though, you simply need to clear his back of spikes and give his noggin a floggin’ to defeat him and end the mission.
