After the introduction, run to the far end of the train platform using the dodge roll and double jump to avoid the mutants and jump over the indicated fence. Run up and hop onto the air conditioning vent to bounce up to a platform above and do it once again.

This section is essentially introducing you to manoeuvring in the game, so at this point you will want to follow the marker arrows. Drop down to the roof below and then use the umbrella to cross the street and climb to the roof.

Hop across the cars in the next area before grinding across a wire between two rooftops. Grind up the fallen cell tower and then up to the indicated area. As you approach an enemy will appear. Reverse direction on your grind, and once the enemy leaves, return to the platform it appeared on and interact with the door.

Follow the markers to escape the train station (left) and continue up the fallen cell tower (right).

Hop onto the wire and use your undergrind (hanging from below) as required. Alternate between grinding and undergrinding to avoid the enemies along the way to the next objective marker. When you arrive a scene will play… And you’ll have your first weapon – The Flaming Compensator .

At this point, you need to kill 8 mutants whilst grinding or during a bounce to continue. There are plenty in the area, so use this opportunity to get used to the grinding/bouncing gameplay – you’ll be doing a lot of it!

Once you have killed the requisite number, the giant mutant will re-appear. He will throw objects at you, so keep an eye out for red circles appearing on the ground. To beat him easily, just continue to grind around the area whilst shooting him and avoiding his projectiles and he will fall in no time.

Defeat the giant mutant (left) in order to return home (right).

After the scene, follow the markers to return home and interact with the door to end the prologue.
