You’ll be able to accept this mission from Sparrow after you’ve completed his previous side mission, Homeopathological.
Go to Maliwan camp / Get heavy armor [2]¶
Once you’ve accepted the mission, head over to the waypoint on the map and take out any enemies that try to bother you in the Maliwan camp. Unfortunately, there isn’t any heavy armours available so this step will eventually get skipped.
Get oversphere thrusters [2] / Get jetpacks [2]¶
Now head over to the next marked area on the map and take out some more enemies whilst listening to the dialogue. Like the previous step there isn’t any oversphere thrusters and jetpacks available so these steps will also get skipped.
Get flash trooper backpacks [2] / Get swords [2]¶
Kill the Flash Troopers, and pick up their backpacks from the floor.
It’s now time to go over to the third marked area on the map where you’ll find two flash troopers, kill them and then collect their backpacks from the floor.
Unfortunately, the swords are unobtainable as well so this step will get skipped.
Get flamethrowers [2]¶
Like the previous items, you’re unable to obtain any flamethrowers so this step will be skipped.
Obtain acid tank / Find AI Chip¶
(1 of 2) Head to waypoint on the map and collect the Acid Tank from the floor,

Head over to the next marked area to find and kill a Dark Contaminator Heavy to get him to drop an acid tank, pick it up from the floor to progress to the next step. Now Make your way over to the next location on the map, and pick up the AI Chip.
Return to research center / Place flash trooper backpack¶
Connect the Flash Trooper backpack to the broken robot on the floor and melee it in.
Now head back to the research center and walk over to the waypoint on the map to interact with the robot body on the floor before you place the flash trooper backpack.
Melee it in / Place acid tank¶
Connect the Acid Tank to the robot on the floor and melee it in.
Melee the flash trooper pack a couple times to make sure it’s nice and secure, then connect the acid tank and give that a melee too.
Turn on power / Install AI Chip¶
(1 of 2) Head to the back of the area and turn on the power,

Head to back of the area and interact with the switch to turn on the power and then interact with the robot once more to install the AI Chip.
Now wait a few seconds to watch the robot malfunction and listen to the dialogue to progress to the next step.
Kill the abomination¶
All that’s left to do is kill the abomination and wait for the dialogue to end to complete the mission.
