How to get Diamantine in Darktide¶

Diamantine is a very rare resource in Darktide. Players will need to go into maps and missions and then go out of their way to look for piles of Diamantine on the floor, along with storage boxes and containers they find on every map. It means that players looking to improve their crafting resource stocks vastly will want to go and scout and scavenge all the resources they can.

It is also worth mentioning that the Diamantine is more common on much harder levels. Players looking to build their stocks fast will need to head into Malice and higher levels. This is more common for players who are very well coordinated, and have started getting 300+ item level pieces, and are ideally level 30 and full build. Heaving into these missions increase the risk and difficulty, and therefore increases the chances of you getting them.

If you play on level 2 missions, then you will get a very, very small amount of Diamantine. A typical run in the closed beta was around five on the level 2s, which is nothing compared to the crafting stall’s costs. Players will need around 150 Diamantine to upgrade a blue weapon to Militarum-Issue tier quality, which is around 30 games of level 2 missions. Therefore, it’s not the best grind, and something players should search for in the harder tier missions when they are ready for them.

Therefore, it is one of the core currencies that will help players progress through the end game, and something they will naturally get as they progress through the game’s difficulty.
