With the pre-order beta now over, rejects who participated in serving the Emperor through Tertium’s darkest days have exclusive Darktide beta rewards for their accounts. When the full game releases, any player who participated in the pre-order beta will find they have some brand new hats for each class in game.
Fatshark has announced Darktide beta rewards for pre-order beta players with some exclusive beta-themed hats.
The Darktide pre order beta hat names are as follows:
- Ogryn: A Beta Company Flak helm (Size: XXXXXL).
- Psyker: A Recon Company Beta Helm and Psykana Collar
- Veteran: A Recon Company Beta Vanguard Helm
- Zealot: The Helm of the Devoted, bearing a Seal of Intolerance
These cosmetics is something players will be able to equip when they log into the game after the full game comes out. All you need to do is go into the cosmetics options of your character’s inventory and then apply the look in your head slot. It doesn’t matter if you have got the penance helmet slot or not, and can be used regardless of if you’re character is level 30 or fresh;y created character.
If you’re not a fan of the Penance helmet cosmetic for your class, then it might be a better fit for you. It also adds some variety if you’re someone who fancies a new look for your class. You can also buy helmet skin cosmetics in the store once you reach level 30.
At the time of writing, we only know what these helmets look like other than a potential teaser image. It appears they are metal soldier caps, similar to the guardsman you find on the Mourning Star. However, they have a fancy white and red B symbol on them, symbolizing the beta reward.
When the full game launches, players will also get their hands on the Imperial Edition skins, featuring the Vermintide-like cosmetics for each of the classes in the game. You can also get your hands on other rewards, and even the cosmetics still to come in the premium store.
