Gamers have been having a heap of fun with Warhammer 40K Darktide since it arrived on Steam as an Early Access beta but if you heard rumors of the game being on Game Pass from day one you might be wondering why you can’t play it. Is Darktide coming to Game Pass?¶
Warhammer 40k: Darktide is indeed coming to Game Pass but you will have to wait a little while longer until November 30th before you can get your hands on it. The game is currently available to early-access purchasers who are giving it a final run-through on an intensive beta test in the run-up to the date. Developers, Fatshark are constantly tweaking and honing during this period to make sure the game is in tip-shop shape for a release date, and for the extra influx of players that appearing on Game Pass will bring.
Is Darktide only on PC Game Pass?¶
The bad news for console players is that Darktide is only Day One on Game Pass for PC users. Xbox Game Pass players will have to wait a little longer - and there is no date as of yet - before the game arrives on the service. We don’t expect the wait to be too long however.

Warhammer 40k: Darktide System Requirements¶
This game does not go easy on lower rigs, at the moment at least. Even players with monster set-ups have been struggling with frame rates and the like during the pre-release testing. We expect this to settle down over time quite quickly and arrive at the specs listed below
