Milla and Muzet: What Could Have Been

Climb the vines to the first level and then hop up the ledge at the opposite side and crawl through the hole to get 4000 Gald . Cross to the opposite side of the same level as the previous treasure for another hole, this one leading to a Mabo Curry (Small) , and then climb up to the next level and continue to the halfway point.

Grab the treasure as you climb up and then watch the skit about Muzet.

As you enter you’ll want to make sure to watch the skit Milla and Muzet: What Could Have Been and then head to the other side and climb up the ivy. Hang a right on the next level to crawl through a hole to get the Garnet and then head south and climb to the Summit.

Boss: Muzet (Catalyst)

Weakness: Light

Muzet is as difficult in Xilla 2 as she was in the first game. You begin the battle already transformed and can dish out some great damage. When not transformed you should focus on using attacks and artes when she is about to cast an arte, so that she doesn’t attack you with her hair. Exploit her light weakness to get a combo started and use linked artes, but sometimes she will teleport away to avoid your attacks. It is possible to prevent this by linking with Milla, who sometimes used Bind on Muzet.

When Muzet’s reaches half HP she will begin to use Stun Blitz, which is a quick attack that can stun your party members, and Force Mine, which create four purple mines around Muzet. Use Stun Bracelets to avoid the Stun effect, if you feel you need to, and either stay close or far away from Muzet when she uses Force Mine. When Muzet uses Over Limit she will cast Gravity Well on the party and Link Arte that to Event Horizon, which causes massive damage to the entire party. If it is cast on you, avoid it, but if it is cast on another party member with other members near by someone will likely be hit even if you switch characters to move them.

Muzet is fast, so avoid her hair attacks and stick close to avoid Force Mine.

Despite destroying Muzet the catalyst isn’t destroyed yet, so watch the scene and make a decision.

After the scene you’ll be back in your prime dimension, but somehow the alternate dimension Milla has follow you and will follow your party, giving you the Maxwell’s Temporal Blade .
