The Binoculars are a new piece of equipment added in Sons of the Forest on march 9, 2023. If players fancy getting themselves a new tool to scout the map, here are the binocular locations in Sons of the Forest.

Where to Find the Sons of the Forest Binoculars¶

Here are the locations of the Sons of the Forest Binoculars tool, added on March 9, 2023.

The only place we know of so far that has the binoculars is the Kayak beach. The Sons of the Forest binoculars location can be tracked as follows:

1. Look for the Food Bunker POI on the map, and head in that direction.
2. Go past the Food Bunker POI, and head towards the beach. This is the northern coast if you’re aware of the directions on the map.
3. On the northern coast, you will find a dip in the beach that goes into the field. This will lead towards a camp near the beach.
4. Go through the abandoned camp with the dead character on the bed and go towards the beach
5. You will find several Kayaks, one of them has the Binoculars, and the other has the Camouflage Suit for Virginia.

How to Use the Binoculars in Sons of the Forest¶

Once you have the Binoculars, feel free to look for them in your inventory. You can find them in near all the bulk tools, like the lighter, tactical axe, and more. You can then use your primary fire keys to look into the binoculars and magnify your vision in those areas. Feel free to scout ahead, looking at those new look out towers in cannibal camps, and investigating other POIs across the map.
