Are you fed up with constantly cutting down trees in Sons of the Forest? Are your arms tired from all that chopping? Well, why not try a 
Chainsaw! Yes, there is a chainsaw in Sons of the Forest, and yes, it does make acquiring logs a breeze. So, how do you get it? Read below to find where you can find the Chainsaw.
The Chainsaw is a fantastic tool, and arguably a better weapon!
Chainsaw Location¶
The first thing you’ll want to do is obtain the 
Maintenance Keycard which you can find here as this allows you to proceed further in the bunker where the chainsaw resides. Like most essential items in the game, the chainsaw can be found in a bunker which appears as a flashing green circle on the GPS. This particular bunker can be found in the center of the west side of the map. You’ll also want the 
VIP Keycard to access the later rooms which can be found here.

When you get to the area (near some golf carts), you’ll find a hole with a small slope leading to a cave entrance. Go through the cave and follow the path into the long corridor. Follow it to the end, and head into the small open room. Here there are a few goodies to pick up such as the Parallel Universes Book, a 
3D Printer, and a bed to rest/save. Continue down the hallway towards the light and go into the next corridor.

There’s not much in here other than some cash, but there will be a locked door that you need to go through. This is where the Maintenance Keycard comes in! Interact with the card swipe to the right of the door to unlock it, and head inside the dark spacious room. The room appears to be a gym/leisure center of sorts, and you’ll find a bunch of supplies by searching the area. When you’re done looting, follow the gym around to the left (the door to the right will have a few pieces of loot) and carry on navigating the gym.

Head into the next room, but pick up the email on the bench to the right before you proceed. Now you’ll be in the reception area. There’s nothing important around the desk other than a drink and a radio. Although this room is large, there isn’t a lot of stuff to get in here. When you’re done searching, go through the open glass door at the back where you’ll be in a room with two staircases leading up. Once again, there’s nothing in the room, but you do need to go up the stairs though.
Go up one of the staircases to the next floor which will lead to a large room with swimming pools. The only thing that’s worth picking up here is the e-mail lying on the floor next to the lounger on the right side of the room. Other than that, there is nothing here other than non-essential items such as cloth.

At the end of the room, you’ll have two areas to choose from. You’ll want to go through the door to your right to get the chainsaw, but the central doorway has the Guitar melee weapon behind the bar on the left and a VIP-locked door with some supplies and the Shotgun Rail attachment. When you’re done looting, return to the locked double doors, and unlock them with the VIP Keycard.
This will open up a long hallway full of corpses that will eventually lead into a hotel-like area. There’s not too much in this room other than some cash, but there is an email on the table at the back. When you’re done looting, head through the door to the left of the e-mail, and you’ll end up in the theater room. There are a few supplies behind the large curved chair, but the thing you want here is what you’ve been looking for, the Chainsaw, which you can find in the arms of the corpse on one of the front bean bags.
