What Are Drug Pallet Pickups in Saints Row?¶
Drug Pallet Pickups are a type of Discovery in Saints Row, an optional, freeform, open world activity that typically rewards you with cash and XP when you complete it. Drug Pallet Pickups, unlike Armored Truck events and Crimes of Opportunity count towards the completion of a region’s Discoveries when completed, and while this won’t increase the passive income generated by any Ventures in that region like completing Threats will, it does count towards various achievments/trophies that task you with conquering various regions.

How to Find and Complete Drug Pallet Pickups¶
Drug Pallet Pickup events make their return from previous Saints Row games, and their function is essentially the same; they’re essentially treasure hunts you can complete for small amounts of cash and XP. You’ll find 125 Drug Pallet Pickup Discoveries throughout Santo Ileso, making them the single most numerous Discovery in the game by a significant margin. They tend to come in groups of three or four clustered together, so if you see one pop up on your map, give the area a sweep - there’s very likely more nearby.
To complete a Drug Pallet Pickup, you need merely find the stack of illicit chemicals and claim them for yourself. Most of these are found in elevated places, often rooftops, although some are stashed under or within various objects. These pallets are large enough that they should rarely be hard to spot, however. You can usually reach their locations with simple platforming, but if you find that too much bother you can always commandeer a helicopter and just land near your target. Such aerial reconnaissance is also a fine way of locating these Discoveries, just fly low and do sweeps over regions.
