Saint's Row

How to Complete Armored Truck Events

By
Nathan Garvin

This page explains what Armored Trucks Events are in Saints Row (2022), including how to find and complete Armored Truck events.

Keep an eye out for white truck icons, as they indicate the presence of an Armored Truck.

How to Start Armored Truck Events in Saints Row

Sometimes a target is too tempting to ignore, and when you see an armored truck parked outside of some bank, the Robin Hood instincts become overwhelming. Armored Trucks will randomly spawn throughout Santo Ileso, and are marked on your map with a white truck symbol to let you know when one’s nearby. Much like Crimes of Opportunity, Armored Truck events are random, repeatable Discoveries, mostly being sources of cheap cash. If you neglect an Armored Truck and end up too far away, it will despawn, but since these are random, recurring events, such a missed opportunity isn’t going to break the bank.

How to Complete Armored Truck Events in Saints Row

Compared to Crimes of Opportunity, Armored Trucks are a bit obtuse in that there’s no “press DualSense-ButtonTriangle / Xbox-ButtonY to get money” prompt. Instead, you’ll need to find the parked Armored Truck, dispose of the driver and hijack the vehicle. This should all be fairly obvious, and not surprisingly once you’ve taken control of the vehicle you’ll gain Notoriety with the police. Defeat or escape your pursuers and once your Notoriety has died down, seek out an isolated, quiet spot, of which Santo Ileso has many. Once done, park the Armored Truck, get out, and destroy you; you can also just ram the Armored Truck into solid objects enough to destroy it, but this takes much longer than simply emptying a clip or two into it.

Once the Armored Truck explodes it’ll leave behind numerous piles of cash, roughly $1,000 to $3,000 worth. It’s not a massive amount of cash by any standards, and you’ll soon outgrow these events, but it’s a fairly simple way to make some ill-gotten gains early on.
