Arriving from Route 6, you’ll start out a bit further into the city. Attempting to go east will send you towards the stubborn Stoutland, so head west for now.
Dimensional Research Lab¶
After a while, you’ll reach the Dimensional Research Lab. You can peek inside if you want, but you can’t go upstairs, where the interesting things are happening.
Thankfully, there are a few points of interest just outside the lab. From the entrance to the building, go a few paces to the right. Squeeze along the gap to the right of the building, then peel off Totem Sticker #032 stuck to the perimeter wall. Afterwards, head east from the gap in the wall. At the end is a Big Mushroom.
Return to the front of the building. Within this area, head south-west towards the giant antenna. It can be hard to see, but Totem Sticker #033 is hiding just below the dish of the antenna. Moving on, return to the main road and follow it west once more. To the left of the Dimensional Research Lab is an office building you can enter.
Office Apartment¶
Inside, go up the staircase directly ahead. Upstairs, enter the office on the right, near the punk guy squatting on the floor. Aha, it’s the glorious Game Freak offices! Perhaps they’re all working hard on the next Pokémon game for the Nintendo Switch? Anyway, go over to the right side of the work area up ahead.
On the computer in the top-right corner is none other than Totem Sticker #030 shining proudly for all to see. Over at the far end, in front of the whiteboard–and possibly devising new gameplay mechanics–is the game director. If you’ve completed any of your island Pokédexes or the Alola Pokédex, you’ll want to speak to him.
Next, head over to the left side of the office. At the far end, there’s a vending machine that only serves Fresh Water, but you can receive a free Lemonade from the kind lady next to it.
For now, that’s all you can do here. Exit the Game Freak office and continue up the staircase to the top floor of the building.
After emerging from the stairs, immediately head left to find Totem Sticker #031 stuck near the corner of the wall.
You’ll have to keep this with you until you reach the next island, Ula’ula Island. It may seem far-off now, but you’ll be there before you know it! You won’t find anything else of interest, so leave the office building back to the main street. Carry on west past a few inaccessible buildings. Past the sightseer, there’s one more building.
Surf Association¶
Before going through the door, check the wall to the left for Totem Sticker #029. Inside, you’ll find the Heahea City branch of the Surf Association. Actually, there’s nothing to do here, but if you return after beating the high scores of all four Mantine Surf spots, you can get a really snazzy Pikachu–one that knows Surf!
From here, you can carry on west to reach the Pokémon Center, where you can plan your next move.
