Meowth Melee¶

After completing Episode RR, if you interact with Meowth in your house on Route 1, an amusing event will occur. One of your mom’s neighbors will come along with her Meowth, resulting in a “battle” between your mom’s Meowth and the neighbor’s. Once the dust has settled, you’ll receive a PP Up.

To finish off, make your way to Guzma’s house on Route 2–it’s the building to the east of the motel. You can easily get there by flying to Hau’oli Cemetery, then traveling north while on Route 2. Inside, head for the back room to bump into Guzma’s mother. She’ll give you Guzma’s favorite TM87 Swagger.

This fiendish move raises the opponent’s Attack by two stages and inflicts confusion. When a Pokémon is confused and hurts themselves, the Pokémon’s Attack is used to calculate damage. So with Swagger, they can potentially deal a lot of damage to themselves. But if not, watch out because the next attack is gonna hurt you!
