Ichiban gets his very own house while he’s on Dondoko Island, which is classed as a separate area that you can decorate. As you place more furniture, you will gain the ability to upgrade your house. This is a costly but useful endeavor as it can make combat around Dondoko Island easier. The guide below goes over how to upgrade your house on Dondoko Island.
How to Upgrade Your House on Dondoko Island¶
To upgrade your house, you will need to start putting down furniture. Once you have a livability score of 500, which means you’ve placed a bit of furniture, you can speak with Kenzo at the shop. Kenzo will offer you the option to make your house larger in exchange for 100,000 Dokobucks. Once the first expansion is completed, you can speak with him again to get a second floor for your house, which will cost you 1,500,000 Dokobucks. These are the only upgrades you can get for now, but once you have a second floor, you can pay for renovations.
Renovations change the color scheme of your home and cost 30,000 Dokobucks each, but the house system is a bit shallow as there is no way to create rooms. You can buy different items for your home from the island shop, but the offerings are limited. The main purpose of filling your home is to increase Ichiban’s health on the island. Removing items will cause your health to go down, so be careful when decorating. You can see the livability score of each item before building it, and you can check your current score at any time within your home.
