Kaden’s daughter, Selkie, can be recruited here. And it looks like she’s got herself in a bit of trouble. Selkie will run around trying to attack units, like Shiro, so if you’re arriving post-Chapter 18, make sure you can either use a Rescue stave or fly on over and shelter her under your wing (be sure to talk to her with Kaden). Due to the terrain, and the checkerboard pattern of the archers, the danger area will be in a checkerboard as well, meaning Selkie will often find herself in tiles where she can be right next to a bow user, but trees block the tile that they would otherwise move to in order to retaliate. So she is a lot safer than Shiro was!

This also means you can abuse said terrain patterns to allow any lower leveled units to get what is essentially free experience, as the bow users are helpless to do anything. From there it’s a straight beeline north to clean up all the other poachers trying to go after Selkie’s precious fur! Upon completion, Selkie will permanently join your army.
