Depending on who the leader of the Golden Path is, this mission will play out a little differently, albeit the end goal is the same, to kill the non-leader. Now, when you confront the person in question, you will actually have the option to shoot them or if you wait long enough, to let them free. In fact, the only difference between the two missions is that you’ll have to kill a few supporters of Amita’s before confronting her.
You are Ajay Ghale, someone who was born in Kyrat and moved to America with his mother to escape from strife and civil war. However, your mom has died and her final wish is for you to return to your birthplace and scatter her ashes at Lakshmana. The only problem is that you get thrown into the civil war that is still brewing, having to side with The Golden Path to try and overthrow the tyrannical Pagan Min.
