This mission will begin as soon as Amita stops talking after finishing Hostage Negotiation, and will task you with taking over an outpost. This outpost is considered an easy one, as it only has one alarm. Unlike Far Cry 3, where all of the alarms were connected, meaning disabling one would disable all others, they are separate in this game and each one has to be disabled on their own.
There’s two ways to go about taking over the outpost, one being to go in guns blazing. The other way is to use stealth and there’s a very, very easy way to do just that. If you use your camera to check out from a nearby hill, you will notice that there’s an elephant caged up in the outpost. Having played Far Cry 3, you will know that freeing animals in an outpost will benefit you greatly.
What exactly does that mean if you haven’t played the previous game? As the game will point out to you, destroying the cages will release the trapped animal and cause a distraction. This can be done by shooting the door, causing the elephant to get loose and go after the enemies. In fact, doing this will make it the easiest way you can do this mission. Once all enemies are dead, the outpost is yours and the mission is over.
