Master of Kyrat
This is the platinum trophy for the Playstation 3 and 4 versions of the game and shouldn’t take too long to get it. A majority of the trophies are for the single player campaign, but there’s at least two that require co-op and one that needs you to play the multiplayer. However, these are rather simple and shouldn’t take more than an hour or so out of your time.

Deliver Us From Evil & All Clear
Outposts are strongholds that enemies hold throughout Kyrat that appear on your map as a white box with a red flag in it. You will also see them while travelling, as a billow of black smoke will be rising from the encampment. There’s a total of 24 outposts in the game and all you have to do to liberate it is kill all enemies that reside within the camp.
Tread Lightly
Each outpost in the game has at least one alarm, which can be found towards the bottom of a telephone pole with speakers on top. If you get detected and the alarm is still active, enemies will get to it and use it to call in reinforcements. The alarm can be shot and destroyed, as well as shut off by interacting with it.
Also, if you clear an outpost without being detected at all, you will not only get a huge XP bonus (1,500), but you’ll also get this trophy/achievement. This is easily done on the very first outpost you go after in the game, which is during the Incursion story mission. Simply free the elephant and it’ll clear the entire outpost for you.
End Transmission
Throughout Kyrat are Bell Towers that are marked on your map as a tower with radio waves coming off the sides. You will need to climb to the top and interact with some radio equipment to liberate it, which will reveal part of the map, as well as unlock some side missions.
Display of Fortitude
There are four fortresses in the game, which are sort of like beefed up outposts, with each one corresponding to one of the antagonists in the game (De Pleur, Noore, Yuma and Pagan Min). At the beginning of the game, they are very hard to take over, but if you take out the person in charge of the fortress (names above), then they will be a lot easier to conquer.
Well-Rounded
There are three different types of Hunting quests in the game, and all you have to do is complete a total of six across all three types. Control quests will have you killing animals in two locations, Survival has you protecting civilians from predators and Supplies will have you killing enemies with a specific weapon. You will be able to unlock these by liberating Outposts and Fortresses.
Trigger-Man
Assassination and Eye for an Eye quests will have you killing commanders, but in slightly different ways. The former will require you to not be detected, while the latter will have you killing them with a specific type of weapon. There’s a total of eight Assassination missions and seven Eye for an Eye ones, but you only need to complete three across both types.
No One Left Behind
Hostage Rescue quests are just as their name suggests, as you will have to rescue hostages that have been kidnapped by enemies. In each mission, you will have the chance to rescue four hostages, although you only need to rescue at least two to pass. You will want to use stealth for these missions, as the enemies will start killing the hostages if they detect you.
Considering there’s a total of 14 Hostage Rescue quests in the game and the fact you need to rescue at least two to pass, you will get this achievement/trophy if you do the minimum of seven missions. However, you can get this in as soon as four missions.
Gearhead
Not far into the game, you will get the opportunity (it’s optional) to visit a woman named Sharma Salsa, who is connected to the films industry. Doing this will unlock two sets of activities as you liberate outposts and fortresses, which are Kyrati Films: Survival and Racing. Both are timed events where you have to drive through checkpoints, except the former will have you switching vehicles once or twice.
There’s a total of nine of each of these activities and all you have to do is complete three across both types.
Defender
During the course of the game, you will have the opportunity to liberate outposts, which will function as fast travel spots for you to quickly move around Kyrat. However, enemies will sometimes attack these liberated outposts, with you getting a warning that your outpost is being attacked. All you have to do is keep killing the enemies that are attacking the outpost until they run away. Do this three times to get the achievement/trophy.
Robin Hood
Cargo Trucks are a random side mission, in which trucks will spawn near your location and it’s your job to either destroy it or hijack it. You will want to hijack it, but the truck won’t stop unless you kill the driver (an explosion will usually do the trick and not destroy the truck outright). Once you’ve done that, just drive the truck to one of your liberated outposts to get some XP and Rupees; do this three times to get the achievement/trophy.
Hand of Justice
Pagan’s Wrath convoys are three vehicles that have high-powered mounted machine guns on the back of them. They are random occurrences, similar to Cargo Trucks, and you will almost always get a warning that one has appeared. Your goal is to kill the two people in each vehicle and not the actual vehicles; do this three times to get this.
There’s two ways to go about this, with a direct confrontation with explosives being one of them. The other way is by ambushing them, since you always know where they’re coming from. Find a straight road and plant some C4 on the ground, detonating them in between the vehicles, which will end up blowing up two of them most likely. For any left, aim for the gunner first before the driver.
Brother in Arms
After completing Incursion in the main story, you will have finished Act One and you’ll get a notice that you can now play co-op. To do this, you will need to have selected the “join co-op” option on the game’s main menu or have someone invite you. The person hosting the co-op session will always play as Ajay, while the second player will be controlling Hurk.
To get this, you need to play as Hurk, so you’ll have to join someone else’s game. While playing as Hurk, you will need to liberate an outpost in that person’s game, which is as simple as it sounds. If the player has already liberated all of the outposts (fortresses also count), then they can reset them all via the game’s settings.
Defuser
One of the side missions in the game will revolve around you disarming bombs, which are unlocked by liberating outposts and Bell Towers. There’s a total of seven in the game, but you only need to complete three of them. Each mission will require you to defuse at least two bombs and if enemies detect you, then they will start a timer that will make you fail if it reaches zero.
Changing Lanes
After completing Incursion in the main story, you will have finished Act One and you’ll get a notice that you can now play co-op. To do this, you will need to have selected the “join co-op” or the “play online” option on the game’s main menu or have someone invite you. The person hosting the co-op session will always play as Ajay, while the second player will be controlling Hurk.
It doesn’t matter which character you control while doing this, but you will need to have purchased the Vehicle Takedown skill in the Tiger skill tree first, which will require you to complete one Kyrati Films: Racing quest. The player getting the achievement/trophy will need to be in the passenger seat of a vehicle and be on the driver’s side of the vehicle you need to use the Takedown on. There will be a button prompt if you’re able to do it, which will get you this.
Changing Lanes
Perform a Vehicle Takedown from the passenger seat of a vehicle (Campaign Co-op only).

Fixer-Upper
At one point in the game, you will visit the Ghale Homestead, which was your parents’ house. Living inside of the place will Yogi and Reggie, two NPCs that will give you some quests as part of the storyline. After the second one, The Protector’s Arrival , they will move out and a NPC will spawn just outside of the front door, who will sell you some items that will improve the house.
While some are only cosmetic, others will actually provide useful upgrades, like the Garden making every single plant available for you to harvest. You have to buy three of these upgrades, with the three cheapest costing you a total of 150,000 Rupees.
