There are four different endings in Far Cry 4, one of which can be gotten within the first 15 minutes of starting the game! The other three won’t be available until you confront Pagan Min at the end of the game, after the Ashes to Ashes story mission. Upon completing that mission, you will need to drive to Pagan’s place, with no enemies in the way or anything else.
Secret Ending¶
At the very beginning of the game, Ajay is brought to Pagan Min, where he is also introduced to Paul De Pleur. At the end of the conversation, Pagan tells you to sit still and wait for him to come back. Normally, you would leave and properly begin the game, but if you wait around for about 13-15 minutes, then Pagan will actually come back and bring you to Lakshmana.
Kill Pagan 1¶
Upon completing Ashes to Ashes , you will go to confront Pagan at his palace. After a short scene, you will be aiming a gun at Pagan’s head. Pull the trigger and you will have killed him, with the credits immediately rolling.
You’ll get two opportunities to kill Pagan during the various endings, one by shooting him when given the chance (left) or by shooting his helicopter down after he shows you to Lakshmana (right).
Kill Pagan 2¶
You will need either a RPG or a grenade launcher in order to kill Pagan in this ending.
Upon completing Ashes to Ashes , you will go to confront Pagan at his palace. After a short scene, you will be aiming a gun at Pagan’s head. Do not shoot and instead wait until Ajay puts the gun away, allowing Pagan and him to have a short conversation, after which, he will show you to Lakshmana. Exit the room and Pagan will take off in a helicopter, which you have a short window to shoot to kill him.
Pagan Lives¶
Upon completing Ashes to Ashes , you will go to confront Pagan at his palace. After a short scene, you will be aiming a gun at Pagan’s head. Do not shoot and instead wait until Ajay puts the gun away, allowing Pagan and him to have a short conversation, after which, he will show you to Lakshmana. Exit the room and Pagan will take off in a helicopter, so just let him go to get this ending.
