Ajay steps up and says he’ll climb the Bell Tower to take over the transmitters. If you’ve played Far Cry 3, this is similar to the radio towers in that game, as you will need to climb to the top and then disable the transmitter there. Your reward in this game, however, is that a few locations close to the tower will be revealed, as well as some side missions being unlocked.
As you approach the objective marker, you’ll be told to check the accident site, which is the offpath from the main road. You will find a grappling hook there, which will be used to climb cliffs and other points during the game. Test it out at the same spot where you picked it up and climb to the ledge above. For the next part, you will need to grapple and then swing across the gap.
The next grapple point will have you swinging and while doing that, hold the button to grapple onto the next spot, where you can climb to the ledge above. If you happen to fall onto the rocks below, you can climb up using more than one grapple. You’ll now be right in front of the tower and despite what Sabal said, there are a few enemies nearby.
Luckily, you can hit a beehive that’s right in front of you to kill a few of the men, hopefully. Clean up any leftovers and head inside the tower. Most towers in the game usually involve using stairs and climbing ledges with ropes dangling off of them. You’ll also have to bust through wooden blockades and destroy boxes (melee them). Once you get to the top, interact with the radio to destroy it and finish the mission.
