Sabal asks to go to the monastery to find out what drove your father and what drives the Golden Path. When you get there, head inside and meet up with Raju, who’ll tell you to pick up an offering basket. Do that and head through the side door, into the actual temple. You will need to walk around and do four specific things before you’re able to continue.
This part will introduce you to Karma events, if you haven’t already done a few. Basically, random events will occur in the game’s world, shown as purple diamonds which when completed, will give you Karma. There’s eight levels of Karma and each level you achieve will grant you some special effects, such as a discount at stores or being able to purchase certain items.
First, go straight ahead from where you entered the actual temple portion and light the candle. Facing the candle, use the stairs on the left to light some incense, then go to the opposite side to find a Mani Wheel. The last thing you need to do is add some powder to flames in the small area behind the candle. When you’re finished, return to Raju and you can leave the monastery now.
The monastery is under attack and there will be plenty of enemies coming, with three specific spots you will have to defend. These are the armory, the Kyra statue and the monastery door, with all three getting enemies that will try to plant bombs there to destroy them. This will be represented by a timer and a bomb symbol on your map.
Simply kill the guy planting the bomb and that site will be safe for the time being. There will be a lot of running around on your part, due to the objectives being fairly spread apart. As long as you concentrate on the objectives and your own health, you shouldn’t have too much trouble with this section of the mission. Return to Raju after clearing all enemies to finish the mission.
