One of the final segments of the Midtown level is when the cat returns to Clementine’s apartment after the factory. While on the quest, you need to avoid Sentinals patrolling the flat complex before you can make your way back into the flat. Once inside, you find she’s gone, leaving a mysterious note. How to complete Clementine’s Mysterious Message puzzle¶
Head inside Clementine’s flat and pick up her note on the wall, which is the same location when you spoke to her about the battery. Upon inspection, the note shows four images at the bottom. You need to find these four times in her flat to decipher the mysterious message.
The first is an incense burner on the round table in the main room of Clementine’s flat. Jump on the table and inspect the incense.B-12 will tell you what the item is alongside the phrase that comes from it. The phrase is “I’m with.”
The next object of interest is the Gemstone. The Gemstone can be found directly above where you got the note from in its own tucked-away spot. To get up there, you need to pull the cloth from the shelving area, which will open a drawer you can climb on. Leap to the drawer and then spring to the top of the area, revealing an all-new cushioned roof area. You then want to navigate around the place until you see a crystal on a tray by some candles. Interact with the object, and you get a note that says“Blazer,“.
The third object of interest is a traffic cone. The traffic cone reveals another message, detailing a message “come to”. You need to head into the storage room, which Clementine was hiding in your first encounter with her in the flat. Note, this is not the storage boxes which have an interactive icon, ratrher the traffic cone is on the other side of the room.
The final item you find is a lava lamp, which is stored on a shelf inside the kitchen area. Look out for its love heart symbol pointing inside the kitchen as it gives the location away really is. Climb up to the shelf and interact with the lava lamp. The message reveals the final part of the mysterious message, stating “Nightclub”. Don’t be confused by the glitter lamp near the gemstone, as that is not the place Clementine stored the final message.

Therefore, the completed code for the Mysterious Message puzzle is “I’m with Blazer, come to Nightclub.”

You will need to climb into the nightclub via the alleyway window, head inside the club, mess with the dj stage props to bring a prop down, climb the rafters, and get on the VIP balcony to find exactly where is Clementine and complete the chapter.
