The Midtown chapter is one of the biggest chapters within Stray and contains various stages before you complete it. Throughout your exploration of Midtown you’ll need to get your hands on a Cassette Tape, Worker Jacket and Worker Helmet. This page will navigate you through the necessary steps to do so.

You’ll need to find a way of stealing the Worker Jacket without getting caught.

What Is The Worker Jacket and Worker Helmet Used For¶

Upon finding Clementine she’ll want you to find a robot named Blazer who wears a bomber Jacket and a Chain. Upon meeting Blazer he’ll need you to find a Worker Jacket and a Worker Helmet in order to successfully sneak you into the Neco Factory.

How To Get A Cassette Tape in Stray¶

Once you’ve reached Midtown, follow the path along until you stumble across a roundabout which has a large hologram sitting in the center, then take the path to the right to reach a Flat Complex. Speak with Simon who can be found selling cassette tapes and he’ll offer to give you one if you manage to destroy three CCTV Cameras.

You’ll want to make your way up to the second floor and follow the path along to the left. Here you’ll see three cameras looking down towards Simon and Jeamnma. Simply, hop onto the cameras and hope off to cause them to break. After all the cameras have been successfully destroyed, return to Simon to be given the cassette.

How To Steal The Worker Jacket in Stray¶

After you’ve got the cassette in your possession, return to the roundabout and follow the path along to the left to find a Clothes Store. Here you’ll want to steal the Hi-Vis Jacket which can be down by pressing on it. However, before you do so you’ll need to distract the store owner Ozi by placing the cassette into the cassette player which can be found inside the changing rooms.

How To Steal The Worker Hat in Stray¶

Next up, you’ll need to get yourself a Workers Hat, so make your way back towards the Flat Complex and enter the Pub which can be indicated by a bright red light. Head into the back room and you’ll find Robot taking a nap. Simply climb up onto the shelves above the Robot and press on the crate of bottles to throw it on the floor to wake it up.

Drop down and follow the Robot to his delivery van, then hop into the box on the floor and wait for him to bring it into the Hat Shop. Once the box has been placed on the floor in the shop, jump out and quickly steal the Workers Hat which is propped up in the store window and flee the area.
