This quest can be obtained from Vay the Alchemist in Berg. Vay is located with other merchants in the centre of the city, and can be seen on the map marked by a merchant symbol. Speak with her and choose ‘I’d like to talk…’, she will then inform you about the details of the quest.

Vay wants you to bring her a Cold Stone. Cold Stones can be acquired in numerous ways. The easiest and most reliable way is to craft them by combining a Mana Stone and a pinch of Blue Sand using an alchemy kit.

If you would rather acquire a Cold Stone by looting an enemy coprse, they can be found raliably from the following enemies.

– Wendigo: These can be found wandering throughout the game world, particularly by the shores of lakes, rivers and oceans.

– Ice Witch: Found throughout the game world. Hotspots include bandit camps, forts and dungeons.

In addition to these mobs, Cold Stones are reliably sold by two vendors, as listed below.

– Agatha: Found in Hermit’s House in the north east of Chersonese, east of Montcalm Clan Fort.

– Tuan: Alchemy merchant found in the city of Levant.

Whichever way you acquire a Cold Stone, once you have it, bring it back to Vay for a reward of 50 silver and 2 weather defence potions.
