This is a fairly short map and can be done fairly quickly. Make sure to visit the four villages for nice rewards! The first you should aim for is the upper right village for a Spirit Dust . The far right Adventurer will aim for it ASAP, so send a few strong units up there fast to grab the goods and defeat the Adventurer. Simultaneously, take care of the Wyvern Lords and Onmyoji to the immediate left and visit the lower left village for a Horse Spirit .
From here, the majority of your team should head right to meet the enemies making their way left. Make a stand between the middle houses and you can get in the first strike easily enough. Also send a unit to the lower right village to grab a Lightning .
At the start of Turn 2 , reinforcements from the south will show up: A few Spear Masters, 1 Mechanist, and 1 Adventurer. These enemies will have to spend a turn breaking down the city wall down here to just get into the city, so that will slow them down. If you send a tougher character or two to greet them, you can hole them up in the lower right cluster of forts for a defense boost.
Most of your hard fighting is likely in the middle of the screen. Be careful with the enemies here as they have a healer and a Master Ninja that can get in two strikes in one go easily if you leave a character in a compromising situation. The main boss, the Merchant, will soon start heading left as well, so be ready for it.
At the start of Turn 4 , the enemy will send in more reinforcements, this time from the north: A few Heroes, a Mechanist, and an Adventurer. Like the southern reinforcements, these guys will have to break the northern wall to get into the city, but you should have the strong units you sent North ready to meet them. Visit the upper left village when you have a chance to grab a Calamity Gate , which is very rare in Conquest since you can’t purchase it!
Overall, this is a pretty short battle and can be completed in under 10 turns, but there’s no rush. Be sure to get all of the treasures and wipe out the rest of the enemies to welcome Ophelia into the group.
