This map is quite fun, but can also be stressful if you let it. The main reason for that is the fact that a bit of your reward money is being stolen every single turn. Your objective this chapter is to figure out who is stealing your treasure. One of the Lancers (allies marked in green) is disguised as the thief. You have to go around and talk to every single one of them to protect your war chest containing 10,000 Gold. However, 300 Gold will be stolen each turn until you find and defeat the leader.

As for which of the Green Lancers is the enemy commander, that is not fixed (otherwise we would tell you to save you grief!). Instead, he will always be the last Green Lancer you end up talking to (just so you can suffer), regardless of order. That means you can pick in advance which Green Lancer you want to talk to last. Either way, you have to be quick to keep your gold.

Once you’ve uncovered the thief, you must defeat him quickly. Even once the thief is discovered, you will still lose gold if you don’t defeat him soon. Time is literally money here!

Time is money in this map, so you will want to split your forces in two and send them to each half of the map. Units with high resistance will be helpful for taking out the Dark Mages and Sorcerors in the eastern half of the ship, while high defense units will be valuable for taking out the Archers and Mercenaries in the west. Eastern half will likely be a slower paced battle, what with Dark Mages supported by Berserkers trying to attack you from behind the wall. Keep their range in mind and try to bait them with a more powerful character.

On the western front, units with high mobility and defenses will shine in taking down the Archers and Mercenaries. The two Adventurers are stationary will be focused on using Freeze and Enfeeble on your units until you are in their attacking range. Take out the Enfeeble user. Enfeeble gives a severe debuff and is far worse to deal with than Freeze. Xander is a good option for baiting enemies here, but again, like Leo and Camilla before, he is a huge experience thief!

While you are finishing up the last of the enemies (and talking to all of the Lancers ), begin moving the units you want to face the boss around the Green Lancer of choice. Once you talk to the last one, the true boss will reveal himself: Shura! Be sure to talk to the Lancer with someone you plan to attack the boss with! Don’t leave someone like Elise vulnerable.

Shura is an Adventurer with a Shortbow, so he can attack whoever attacks him, but between your initial attack and the allies you have gathered around you should be able to take Shura out in one turn.

After the fight, you will actually have an important decision to make: Do you forgive Shura or do you execute him? While this has no bearing on the plot, aside from female Avatar losing a marriage option, whether or not you let a new unit join your army could potentially help or hurt you.

Thus, this is completely a personal choice. If you forgive him, he will swear loyalty to you and join your army. He comes with a Killer Bow and a Mend, which is pretty sweet (though it would be sweeter if he gave you all the money he stole). You should have plenty of healers by now, but there are not many Bow users in Conquest . If you decide to execute him, he will leave Boots in his wake, which permanently boost a character’s movement speed by 1. So, a new unit, or Boots? You decide.
