Jack says you can fix the Destroyer’s eye and asks you to pick up two piece of it that are laying around the area. One is near the elevator that leads to the Laser Control room at the top of the zone. From there, take the eastern set of stairs down and go to the edge there. Use the slanted pillar to jump up to the area above, which contains the iris piece.

Although it may take a few tries, you can climp up this slanted beam to reach the area with the one eye chunk.

The other piece is located on the western side on the same vertical level, so head over there. It should be pretty easy to find and doesn’t require you to do any unnecessary jumps. With both pieces, head to Research and Development and go to the waypoint. Place the eye chunks on the platform, then use the console to suture it together.

Take that creation and move it over to the pedestal right around the corner, where you need to shoot it with a laser gun. If you don’t have one, for some odd reason, then there’s two of them in the locker right next to the pedestal. Shoot it and it will explode after a few seconds, likely killing you in the process. Anyways, return to Jack’s office to finish the mission.
