The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

Titan's Mitts Tour

By
Vincent Lau

This page details the lesser, but still important collectables across Hyrule and Lorule that can only be nabbed with the Titan’s Mitts, obtained from the Desert Palace dungeon. Starting from the main Lake Hylia area, go one screen right, then one screen up. In the top-right corner, where you can play Hyrule Hotfoot, merge into the wall on the right and walk right. At the end, emerge and lift up the big rock to find Maimai #5 hidden underneath.

Next, warp to the Eastern Palace and exit the area from the bottom-right corner. In the next screen, head left and at the edge of the cliff merge into the wall above, then walk all the way left. On the other side, follow the ledge right and lift up the big rock at the end for Maimai #24 .

Warp to the Sanctuary and head left one screen, up one screen, to the area with the V-shaped line of trees. Head for the top-right corner, where the cave leading to Death Mountain is and enter it. Inside, go up and at the first turn, lift up the big rock and proceed up past it, then take the exit to the left. Back outside, you’ll find Maimai #47 on the wall.

Use Irene’s bell again and warp to Link’s House, then go south. Exit the large grassy area from the bottom-left corner to reach the grassy area surrounded by cliffs. Head left and, when in front of the doorway to Lorule, go down. Lift the bottom-most big rock to find Maimai #48 . Next, head back up and climb the stairs to the right.

On the hill, merge onto the wall above and walk all the right, into the next screen. Emerge on the ledge and let the energy gauge rest, then merge into the wall and continue walking further right. At the very end, lift the big rock in the middle of the smaller rocks to find Maimai #13 .

Finally, to finish off your Hyrule quest for now, warp to Kakariko Village and go one screen right, to the Blacksmith’s. Here, lift the big rock in front of the cave and enter; inside is a valuable Piece of Heart . Now return to Lorule through the nearest doorway, then warp to the Blacksmith’s. From there, go up one screen and head for the top-left corner. Lift up the left-most big rock to uncover Maimai #59.

Next, warp to the vacant house and then go one screen left. Drop off to the left and lift up the nearby big rock for Maimai #60 . Now to finish off your Lorule tour as well; warp to the Misery Mire and go one screen right. From here, head right and at the doorway to Hyrule go down and lift the bottom-most big rock to uncover Maimai #68 .
