Throughout your journey in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, you will often get requests, and quests from the various people occupying the towns. In Sunbreak, Follower Collab Quests were added. In these quests, the NPC who offered you the quest will join your hunts. By completing these quests, you can unlock various armor designs, weapon designs, and much more. This page will tell you all the steps needed to unlock the Heavy Knight Armor Set also known as the Hoplite Armor.

Hoplite Armor Prerequisites¶

To obtain the Hoplite Armor, you’ll need to complete a few quests before you can gain access to the quest that rewards the armor set. First things first, you’ll need to be at least Master Rank 3. To get Master Rank 3, you’ll need to complete the M3★ Urgent Quest “Keep it Busy” which requires you to defeat an Aurora Somnacanth. Once this quest is complete, you’ll get several quests/requests from various NPCs including Dame Fiorayne, and Master Arlow’s Follower Collab Quests. This is important as their quests will lead to the Hoplite Armor Quest. These following quests can be done in any order once they’re available, but some will only appear once the previous quest in the chain has been completed.

Unknown Invader¶

Once the above quests have been completed, Master Arlow will give you the quest “Unknown Invader”. This quest will require you to hunt a Gore Magala with Master Arlow’s help. Once this has been completed, the Heavy Knight (Hoplite) Armor set will be available to craft at the Smithy.
