This page is designed as an overview for all the new Switch Skills released in the new expansion Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. There are currently 14 new Switch Skills shown so far, one for each weapon type, although more are expected at launch.

What are Switch Skills¶

When Monster Hunter Rise was launched back in March 2021 it added a new feature, Switch Skills. These work similarly to Silkbinds, but they don’t require a Wirebug to use them. Think of these as weapon attacks with Silkbinds as special attacks. That’s not to say that they aren’t strong as some of them can completely change your playstyle. With the introduction of the expansion, Sunbreak. At least 14 new Switch skills were announced, one for each weapon type, and many more are expected when it launches at the end of June.
