This page offers a guide on how to complete the Owl shadow puzzle in Gotham Knights. The Owl Puzzle is a part Case 2.2 The Powers Club.

Activate the Spotlight¶

The first thing you’ll want to do when you enter this room is head over to the back wall to observe the very obvious fake door within the mural. Unfortunately, knowing its a fake door is not enough to get it to open!

Your next task will be to the scan the room - you’ll find that a spotlight machine near the entrance into the room is glowing yellow. Focus your scanner on the spotlight to analyze it and you’ll then be able to turn it on. The spotlight shines on a number of metallic shapes in front of it, casting shadows on the mural wall where the fake door is.

Owl Shadow Puzzle¶

Now there’s absolutely no clarity here for what the shadow needs to be showing in order for the door to open. You’ll probably notice that it’s the shape of an owl (makes sense) but you need to have the owl not only be legible but also facing a specific way.

On the right most mural, you’ll see some shady-looking figures. Your owl shadow needs to be facing towards them (to the right). Once you know that the owl needs to be facing right, the rest is easy!

So there are four parts that you can change and you can rotate the pieces to the left and to the right depending on which side you interact with. The following parts are:

• The claws
• The body
• The left wing
• The right wing

All you’ll need to do is rotate the different parts until your owl looks like an owl and is also facing to the right. So from the beginning placement, you’ll basically need to rotate all four pieces to face the right as they mostly start facing the left.
