Where to Find Karsh, Salt, & Peppor¶
The boss battle between Serge and Kid vs. Karsh, Solt, and Peppor will be triggered at Cape Howl after Serge views his own gravestone and reads the words there.

He’ll be ambushed by the three who think he’s a ghost, and Kid will show up to defend Serge and fight with him.

Although it’s three against two, this boss battle shouldn’t prove to be too much of a challenge.

How to Beat Karsh, Solt, & Peppor¶
If you picked up the Magma Bomb from Serge’s house back in Arni Village, using Red will significantly lower their HP. None are specifically weak to red, but being able to hit all three at once will be a huge advantage and there isn’t much else available to you early in the game.
Mostly, this battle functions as a tutorial and they’ll drop tips as they go. Knocking off Solt and Peppor first makes this battle easier, as Karsh has the most HP and it’s easier to focus on him at the end.
Once you beat them, they’ll run away and leave you with Kid.
