(1 of 3) A funeral will occur as you travel across this wooden bridge.

After Kid is stricken with poison, following the events of Viper Manor, make your way to the shrine area in the Port Town of Termina (Another World). If you haven’t been, it’s the easternmost area; if you’ve forgotten, it’s where Glenn and Riddell prayed to the sacred sword.

As you cross the wooden bridge that leads further in, you’ll witness a funeral happening. Afterwards, the funeral director, Greco, will return to his shack. Follow him inside. He’ll have a conversation with a girl called Romana. Speak to him yourself and he’ll offer his services… as a party member.
