Locating My Loyal Shield Treasure Map¶

Get this treasure map from a merchant at the Southern Warden Tower’s entrance in the Galawain’s Tusks region. Stockkeeper Eberk will give it to you for 5220 coins. It isn’t cheap but the fourth region’s loot and bounties will compensate this with their generous rewards. The map points to a forgotten tower near Twinedwood.

Finding My Loyal Shield¶

You can get to this treasure quickly by teleporting to the Twinedwood fast travel point. Head west from here towards the lava. You’ll spot the tower from a distance. You’ll have to walk around the tower to find ledges that lead to a room lit up by a blue lantern. Here, you’ll find a secret button behind the altar in the middle of the room. It might be blocked by pots so destroy them to access the button. Interact with it to open a hidden door right outside this room. Walk in and drop into the hole to find a chest with the Time’s Tarnish shield.

It grants the wielder a 10% chance to avoid melee damage. The shield also gives you a 10% chance of refilling 20 Stamina on a successful block. This comes in handy while fighting mobs of xaurips or the Steel Garrote. That covers how you can finish the My Loyal Shield treasure map questline in Avowed.
