This is a guide for the third chapter in The Last of Us: Part 1 DLC, Left Behind. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to restoring power to the gate.
Ellie faces Clickers in Atrium
How To Power The Locked Gate¶
As soon as you regain control of Ellie, search the shelves to the right of the area to find a Rag x1 and Explosive x1, then go over to the Noodle Bowl Restaurant to find some Sugar x1 on the counter and the Atrium Note on the floor. Once you’ve picked up everything, head through the open door to the right of Petsville and pick up some Handgun Ammo x4.
Jump over the boxes and walk through the water until you enter the next room, then walk up the ramp to find the Generator Note. Interact with the generator to find out there’s no fuel, so pick up the Petrol Can behind you, then you’ll need to fill it up. Unfortunately, there is only fuel in the truck at the far back of the room, but between you and the truck are two Stalkers.

Remain crouched and walk up to the Stalker and use your Knife to take them out when they aren’t looking. After you’ve cleared out the Stalkers, approach the second truck and press 
on the tank to steal it fuel, then place it into the generator and start it up. Open the gate behind you and climb up the ladder. Walk along the pipes until you reach the roof of the first truck, then drop down to the area on the left and walk through the back of the second truck. Here you’ll want to open up the shutter on the right to find some Explosive x1, and Rag x1, then open the shutter on the left to find a trolley.

Pull it out and push underneath the open shutter on the right to keep it open, then use the boxes on the left to climb up and walk across the shutter until you reach the pipe. Walk along the pipes until you reach the back of the room before dropping down. Open the door and you’ll be greeted by five more infected. Hold 
to see where they are standing then strike down the one on the left with your knife.
Remain in this room and wait for another infected to walk through before striking it from behind. You’ll now have to deal with three more infected, so enter the small room on the left to find some Explosive x1, Sugar x1 and Blades x1, then you’ll notice 2 idle infected and one roaming infected. For now ignore the two standing by the exit and wait for the roaming one to stand near the Frozen Food shelf and take it out from behind. Finally, approach the entrance and for the infected on the far left to walk away before striking the one on the right, then take out the final one when its not looking.

How To Get Through The Atrium¶
Open the shutter and you’ll find yourself back in The Atrium, Here you’ll have to deal with two more Clickers. Crouch behind the wall in the center of the area and wait for the Clicker to walk past you on the left before taking it out with your knife, then wait for the second one to walk away before taking it out as well. After the room has been cleared out, open the gate and walk up the escalator and enter the tent on the left to find the Atrium Recorder. Finally, approach the helicopter to bring chapter 3 of Left Behind to a close.
