This is a guide for the final area The Hospital in The Last of Us: Part 1. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to getting through the hospital as safely as possible.

How To Get Through The Hospital¶
After the eventful journey through the Bus Depot you’ll find yourself at The Hospital. Unfortunately, the Fireflies aren’t a friendly bunch, so you’ll want to jump into the room on the on left, then collect the Blades and Alcohol from the table before sneaking to the end of the room. Climb through the window and follow the path along the left, then jump out onto the balcony on the left.
From here, walk over to the opposite side, then wait for the guard to walk away before jumping inside and strangling him. Collect some Revolver Ammo from the corpse in the corridor, then enter the room opposite with the MRI Scan and wait for another guard to inspect the enemy you just killed before strangling him. Stay in the room and repeat the same process for two other guards, then enter the room to the left of the information desk to find a Rag and Binding in the Toilet.

Go back out into the corridor and enter the last room on the left to find some Supplements x5, then up ahead you’ll find yourself up against four more guards. You’ll want to tackle these enemies with stealth as alerting them will cause more reinforcements to show up, so you will want to wait for one of the guards to enter the opposite you before strangling him, then wait for one guard to inspect a corpse before taking him down.
Hold 
to see the whereabouts of the remaining two enemies, then take them out when their partner isn’t looking. Once you’ve cleared out this area, search all the rooms to gather up some, Blades, Binding and Alcohol, then follow the west corridor along until you reach the next room and you’ll be spotted by a guard. Quickly, sprint at him and finish him off with a melee attack before he alerts the others, then hide behind the desk until three guards pass before continuing.
Where To Find The Marlene’s Recorder 1¶
Search the area for some Binding, Rag, Supplements x5, then make your way upstairs. Here you’ll want to search the desk for the Surgeons Recorder, then look in room on the right to find Marlene’s Recorder 1, Binding, Blades and Alcohol. Use a Shiv to unlock the door behind the counter and inside you’ll find a Firefly Pendant - Bryony Stewar-Seume, Supplements x10, Shotgun Ammo x2 and Revolver Ammo x3.

Take a look in the tent in the next area to find Marlene’s Journal along with some Alcohol, then head down the corridor and wait for a guard to head around the corner before sneaking into the room ahead.
Where To Find The Marlene Recorder 2¶
At this point you’ll want to find some cover and take out all of the guards with your Bow and Hunting Rifle, then head through the door at the end and search the room on the right to find Marlene’s Recorder 2. Finally, enter the room at the end of the corridor and rescue Ellie, then follow the linear path ahead to leave the hospital.

Epilogue¶
After you’ve made it out of the Hospital you’ll find yourself in the woods, so follow Joel then look for a pickup truck to find the Singularity Comic. Cross the river and wait for Joel to boost you over to bring the game to a close.
