This is a guide for the second and final area in the Bus Depot in The Last of Us: Part 1. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to getting through The Underground Tunnel and where to find the Bomb: Proximity Mine Training Manual.

How To Get Through The Underground Tunnel¶
Continuing on from the bus depot, head through the bus that’s blocking the path, then walk around on the bus on the left to find the Firefly Pendant - Natlie Hod on the floor. Continue following the path along until you enter the tunnel, then climb over the truck and walk along path on the right to find Blades x1 and a Rag x1.

You’ll now have to deal with a Bloater, Clickers and a Runner. Ignore the Bloater and instead crouch and hug the right wall until you reach the first Runner, then press 
to take it down. Walk around to the right of the campervan and wait for the Clicker to walk away before strangling him as well. Avoid the remaining enemies in this portion of the tunnel and instead continue to hug the right side until you’re a little further in
Where To Find The Bomb: Proximity Mine Training Manual¶
Search the path on the right to find Flamethrower Ammo x50, then go into the room to find some Alcohol x1, Explosive x1, Blades x1 and Parts x3. Head up the stairs and you’ll have three more Runners in your way, so strangle remain crouched and strangle each one. Checkout the room at the end of the path to find Blades x2, Binding x1, and Parts x25, then head back outside and climb up onto the truck to find the Bomb: Proximity Mines Training Manual.

If you’ve collected all the training manuals up to this point, then you should get the Something to Fight For Trophy. As you look ahead you’ll see two Bloaters, Two Runners and Two Clickers. The easiest way to get past this is to wait for the Clicker on the right to walk away, then climb over the behind the Bloater. Keep to the right of the area, then boost Ellie up onto the trailer and wait for her to drop down a crate.
Where To Find The Catalysis Comic¶
Swim underneath the truck at the end of the path, then climb up onto the roof and drop the ladder down to Ellie. From here, walk along the ventilation pipes and you’ll find the Catalysis Comic. Drop down into the water and boost Ellie over the fence so she can unlock the gate for you, then take out the Clicker before using the Workbench. If you’ve used all the Workbenches up to this point, then you’ll get the Prepared for the Worse Trophy.

Unlock the room on the right with a Shiv to find Supplements x10, Parts x50, Explosives and Sugar. Dive into the water and swim through the doorway on the right, then swim through the tunnel until you reach a different room. Climb up onto the ventilation pipes and walk back around to the other room, then drop down a wooden plank for Ellie. Bring the plank over to her and swim her across to the platform on the opposite side, then wait to push the ladder down.
Unfortunately, it broke, so take the part you’re holding onto and place it against the wall on the opposite side, then climb back and pick it up. Now you’ll want to use the ladder to bridge the gap between the two platforms. Finally, walk along the walkway until you fall, then press multiple times to escape, then swim back to Ellie for a scene and the the Bus Depot portion of the game to a close.
