Head north onto the asphalt then follow that until you see the Pokémon Center to your left. Head on in and heal up and check out the Pokémart.

You know what time it is: exploration time! First, talk to the man in the western half of the Pokémon Center. He’s willing to trade a "Steelix" IconSteelix if you can find him a "Luvdisc" IconLuvdisc . The man in the eastern half of the Center will recite a passage if you speak with him and can be tipped afterwards if you’re so inclined. After that; head back out into the street.

Head back south first to where you entered the city. Head into the house next to the black belt. Speak with the person in the north-east corner to receive a Whipped Dream . Head back outside. Interact with the small rock behind the house for another item. Now head back to the Pokémon Center.

You can check the house to the left of the Pokémon Center to find someone who massages Pokémon. Doing so will make them like you a little more so feel free to make use of it. Now head to the Bicycle Shop, to the right of the Pokémon Center.

When you enter; you’ll be told that you just missed out on a free bike, but if you answer their quiz correctly they’ll give you a bike. The question is ‘do bikes come in different colours?’. The answer’s ’ Yes ‘, so give the correct answer and you’ll get your bike! You can choose whether you want a yellow or green one. Once you have it, head back outside.

Ethers let you replenish a move’s PP without returning to a Pokemon Centre.

Head into the house just north of the Pokémon Center. Talk with the girl at the table to take a short quiz. The answers are ’ Persim Berry ’ and ’ Confusion ‘. Once you win, she’ll give you more than one Persim Berry as a prize.

Once you’re done; head outside and east, back onto the road. You’ll find a person there selling Soda Pop for $300. Feel free to buy some if you want to. You can then head into the clothes shop just north of the person. Have a look at clothes if you so desire; then leave once you’re ready. Head north-west to the next building.

You’ll find that it’s a hotel. Talk to the person just west of the door, sitting down at a table with one other person. That person will give you TM44 - Rest ! Talking to the other person with him will grant you TM88 - Sleep Talk . Now head up the stairs to the next floor.

Talk to the woman near the entrance to the second floor and she’ll give you a Destiny Knot . Head to the last room on this floor to find Mr. Bonding once more. He’ll give you the Prize Money Power for speaking with him, then promptly leave.

Leave the hotel yourself. Head to the cafe to the north-west of the hotel. Hear you can pay money to sit in certain places and talk with people about Pokemon. I don’t see any real point, but it can be fun I guess. Once you’re done, head back outside.

You can’t use Strength on the field just yet, but it can be used in battle.

Head back to the asphalt road and follow it around until you see a dirt path leading north off of it. Follow it. When you see the two benches to your right, go behind them and you’ll find a Super Potion . Now take out your Dowsing Machine and head onto the asphalt road north of you.

Face west and use it to find the X Speed . Now head back south along the dirt path to get back to the asphalt road you were on before. Once you’re back to the road, continue following it as it begins going uphill.

The person reveals himself as Grant, the Cyllage City Gym leader. Well, that makes things easier! You’re now free to challenge him whenever you wish to… inside his gym that is. Now follow the asphalt bike track all the way to the top. When you slide down the first part near the end, grab the X Sp. Atk .

Don’t slide to the bottom; but slide south back onto the bike track. Now head back south along the left of the two paths. When you see the dirt path coming off of the track, head onto it. Slide down to the item below, grabbing it to find that it’s a X Defense . Now head back around to where you just slid down and head east, to the gym entrance.

Check the west-most of the three small rocks in a corner near the entrance to find a Protein . That’s everything to do in the city! It’s time to head into the gym, so make sure you’re ready.

If you still need to train further, feel free to head north into Route 10 - Menhir Trail and explore it before hitting up the gym. If you want to, skip ahead to that section, otherwise onward to the gym!
