This is the only Snorlax you can catch, so save before waking it up!

Head back south and go and heal your Pokémon at Camphrier Town, then head back into Route 7 - Riviere Walk once again, back to where the "Snorlax" IconSnorlax was. When you reach the Pokémon, Shauna will catch up. Give the Poké Flute to the man and then prepare your party so that you can take Snorlax and try to catch it when it wakes up.

Using the Ultra Ball you found earlier might come in handy here. When you’re ready, let the man know and he’ll play the flute. The Snorlax will wake up and strike! Try and catch it if you can!

They’ll give you a nice little explanation of it and you’ll be free to place Pokémon into Day Care if you want to. Once you’re done here, head back out and head west down the path.
