Head west over the bridge to meet first trainer of this route; an Ace Trainer no less!

Trainer Battle: Ace Trainer Mireille¶

Move over to the water by the trainer and use Surf . Head up along the river. At the end just before the rocks is a patch of land. Move onto it and grab the Insect Plate there. Now head back to the trainer and continue along the road. You’ll reach a pair of Ace Trainers. Let’s go!

Double Battle: Ace Duo Elina & Sean¶

Turn on your Dowsing Machine and head east over to the rock by the flowers. You’ll be able to find a hidden Guard Spec . there. Continue east to the boulder. Use Strength on it and push it east three tiles. From there, push it back west one tile then push it north until it drops into the hole. Once it’s dropped into place, head over it to the stairs.

At the top of the stairs is a hardened challenger - a Pokemon Veteran! Yikes!

Trainer Battle: Veteran Louis¶

Head north-east over to the Move Tutor’s house. Go inside and speak with the Black Belt. If you have a Pokémon that can learn Draco Meteor , the strongest Dragon-type move, he can teach it to them. Once you’re done, head back outside. Now turn on your Dowsing Machine and head west into the flowers. You’ll be able to find a Pearl String .

Now use Surf on the nearby water and head over to the land on the opposite side. You’ll find a Repeat Ball here. Pick it up then Cut the nearby bush. Grab the Figy Berry behind it near the tree. Now backtrack to the pair of Ace Trainers. Head west past them up the stairs and you’ll reach the gate.

Now head south from it down the dirt ramp. You’ll see an Ace Trainer circling flowers to your south-west. Take him on!

Trainer Battle: Ace Trainer Evan¶

Head west from him over to the ramp. Head up the ramp and over to the bush there. Cut it and head south to the Veteran. Let’s make this quick!

Trainer Battle: Veteran Trisha¶

Move around her and grab the Elixir . Now move back around past the flowers and down the ramp. You’ll see another bush to your south. Cut that one and head through. There’s two boulders here. Push the one slightly more to the west as far west as possible. Come back to the other one and push it as far west as possible too.

Now push it south into the hole. Now head back to the first one and push it east until it’s in the hole there. Now turn on your Dowsing Machine and head back west. Use it to find the hidden PP Up . Now head south over the boulder you pushed into the hole. There’s be another boulder. Push this one south twice.

Circle back around to the veteran you defeated so that you can push it east. Do so until it drops into the hole. Once it’s in the hole, head over it to the water. Surf as far east as possible and you’ll see a bit of land you can move onto to your south. Move onto it and grab the item there to find that it’s a Rare Candy .

Surf back west and land on the shore to your north with a bush there. Cut the bush and then circle all the way back around so that you can push the boulder that was just west of the bush east into the hole. Head around to the next boulder. Push it north three times and east twice. It’ll drop into the final hole.

Now head over it and follow the path around. You’ll find TM22 - Solarbeam . A nice prize for a bit of effort. Now jump over the ledge to your north and follow the path north-west to the gate. Head on inside! Head up to where the purple-haired man stands in front of the gate. Talk with him. After he realises you have all eight he’ll test your abilities!

Trainer Battle: Ace Trainer Robbie¶

After defeating him, the trainer will move aside and allow you to pass. Onwards, to Victory Road. The start of the road to victory! Walk down the hallway and allow the door to open. When it does, walk on through!
