The next gym battle isn’t far now!

Phew, we made it to the next town! After our adventures inside Reflection Cave, it’s probably a good idea to head straight for the Pokémon Center and get your Pokemon rested and healed up. Feel free to restock too.

Shalour City Pokemart

Item Cost
TM28 - Dig 10,000
TM84 - Poison Jab 10,000
TM20 - Safeguard 30,000
TM07 - Hail 50,000
TM37 - Sandstorm 50,000

Talk with Mr. Bonding, found on the western side of the center. He’ll give you a Critical Power then leave. Head on outside. Head west from the Pokémon Center and enter the first building you reach. Talk to the old lady inside and if your Pokémon in your first position likes you then she’ll reward you with a Soothe Bell .

Exit and enter the next house west of the one you were just in. Talk with the woman in the north-east corner of the house. If you have a Pokémon of the type she needs she’ll give you five Stardusts . Head back outside and back to the Pokémon Center. Enter the house just to the right of the center. Talk to the scientist inside.

If you’ve seen a fair few Pokémon found in the Coastal Pokédex; he’ll give you an Eviolite as a reward. Head back outside and back to the intersection by the Pokémon Center.

Before entering the Tower of Mastery, look around for a Max Ether.

Now let’s head north from the Pokémon Center. You’ll be stopped at the stairs by your friends. They’ll talk about the Mega Evolution Guru that you’re meant to be paying a visit to in town. We’ll get there soon enough. First head up the steps, then head west, then north, then west again; up another set of stairs.

Here you’ll find another house to enter. Inside there’s a person that’s happy to trade a Sitrus Berry of yours with a Leppa Berry of his. Do so if you want to. Now head back outside and head west. You’ll find the Shalour City Gym. Unfortunately the gym leader’s out at the Tower of Mastery ; but we’ll be seeing her soon enough.

Head east down two sets of stairs to the sand below. Start heading north and one of your friends will once again start catching up. He’ll give you an Intriguing Stone , just because. After that; head north.

There’s a Photo Spot here if you want to take a photo. Once you’re ready, head north to the base of the stairs leading up to the Tower of Mastery. You should see an item to your east. Head over and collect it to find that it’s a Max Ether . Cool! Now head back to the tower and head inside!
