Outriders Worldslayer has dropped plenty of new legendary weapons and armor to pick up along the way. There’s plenty of new content to throw in as part of your new Worldslayer builds. However, People Can Fly added only one new bolt-action sniper rifle to the game, the Hellborne. Best way to obtain the Hellborne sniper rifle in Outriders Worldslayers¶
Sadly, the best way to get your hands on these weapons requires a bit of luck. People Can Fly made it easier to target legendary types thanks to the loot levels in Tarya Gratar, but as this is a weapon, it’s left entirely up to chance. The best sources of legendary gear in Outriders Worldslayer appear to come from the bosses, featuring all three Arbiter levels and the Traitor level. We recommend repeetadly killing the bosses for the best hopes of the weapon dropping.
Moreso, you can always run the return to lobby strategy on the final boss to guarantee more choices of Apocalypse legendary items. Killing the final boss grants you one choice of three legendary apocalypse items. Pick the legendary you want, pick up the boss loot, return to the lobby, and run the boss again until you’re out of attempts.
Alternatively, you can play a Technomancer with the Sniper Rifle damage and loot buff to try and farm it. It increases the chances that your loot will be snipers, offering a somewhat better chance at getting the Helllborne legendary sniper rifle. Albeit its not a foolproof method.
How to use the Hellborne sniper rifle in Outriers Worldslayer¶
Bolt-action snipers are very fun to use in Outriders, albeit impractical to the game’s meta. If you don’t care for that, we recommend running this on a Sniper Rifle-focused Technomancer. That way, you can get more out of the weapon in terms of its damage. We also recommend running the Deadeye legendary armor set as well, as it enhances your aim down sights damage and critical strike damage with Snipers. This should make using snipers feel much more rewarding, grant some AOE alongside the Helborne mods and help you do more damage to bosses.
You should also use an SMG as a second weapon for when enemies swarm you. This helps round out your build when enemies get too close for comfort. Something like the Sunfall legendary might help your build, or perhaps the new Thunderclap weapon for its chain mod effect.
